+ Can someone take my idea if I post it on Open Source?

The short answer is, Sure. The long answer is, Not likely. At Sigmund, we believe brilliant ideas can’t come to fruition if they stay locked in a safe. Even the best ideas need collaboration to get off the ground. Saying that, if you have copyrightable, patentable or trademarkable material that you do not wish to share with the world yet, you don’t need to share it. And remember...nothing mentioned, nothing gained.

+ Do I have to pay anything to submit an idea?

No, Sigmund never charges its users to participate.

+Is Open Source a place to ask for funding for my idea?

No, but there are some great websites out there that offer funding out there!
