Baboo is a platform that connects travelers to our global community of local destination experts to make planning a custom trip stress-free and exciting.

Strategic partners / investors from the travel industry, we are attracted to collaborate with people who can help us grow faster, better and more intelligently.
+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?
We really want to find a partner that can collaborate with us, and not just a silent investor. There are many VC's and Angels who would be interested in investing in Baboo, but we would ideally like to find someone with industry knowledge, and can help us scale to become a global brand.
+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
Our idea makes me feel good because we have already built the product and it's great. We know that planning a trip with the local experts we are connecting our travelers to is the most efficient, affordable and knowledge based way to plan a trip.
It also makes me feel good that we are a Benefit Corporation who will balance profits and purpose, to help our people and our planet by building and growing Baboo.
+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
Travelers will be able to plan a trip directly with an expert trip planner anywhere around the world, they will get all the local insights to build the best itinerary, get the best rates as we cut down middlemen, and get 24/7 support on the ground while traveling.
We are also developing cool innovative ideas to build meaningful connections between people. For travelers to connect with other travelers or easily plan a trip with friends or family, for influencers to connect with their followers, and many other great ways to use the platform to connect.
+ Who will benefit the most from your idea?
Travelers will be able to plan a trip directly with an expert trip planner anywhere around the world, they will get all the local insights to build the best itinerary, get the best rates as we cut down middlemen, and get 24/7 support on the ground while traveling.
Local Experts benefit as well as they open up to new business and new markets that were usually only business to business.

+ At Sigmund, we are interested in ideas at the intersection of People, Planet, and Profit. How does your idea relate to these three categories?
We have committed to donating 2% of our Sales or 20% of our profits to charitable organizations such as the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund, who we admire. And, we are working closely with carbon footprint organizations in order to measure, and make sure that every booking in our platform for one of our trips is carbon positive, meaning that not only do they not pollute and we compensate all the footprint, but we are also contributing to helping the planet.
